WHO ARE YOU?
WHO ARE YOU?

Hi there! I'm Jenny, a UI/UX designer passionate about all things of visual aesthetics and optimal user experience.

I'm currently a graduate student in the Social Cognition Lab at University of California, San Diego Department of Psychology pursuing a PhD in Experimental Psychology. I study aesthetic judgment and decision making - how does the mind determine something is beautiful, and how do these judgments affect subsequent decisions? Crucially, my goal is to understand the "whys" of design from a cognitive psychological view. In the end, I hope to use this knowledge and apply it to my own design.

This has many real world applications where visual design is a crucial component that determines the interaction between products and people. Through leveraging my skills as an experienced designer and background in cognitive psychology, I hope to bring creative and impactful solutions to real-world problems.
